Tips for the Perfect White Wine Sangria
- Use good quality white wine. Viognier works well, but you can also try sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio.
- Adjust for sweetness. If you prefer a sweeter sangria, add a splash of fresh orange juice or simple syrup.
- Make it stronger. Feel free to add in a splash of brandy or vodka to make it more boozy.
- Give it some sparkle. Top your sangria with soda water or prosecco to add some bubbles and fizz.
- Use more frozen fruit. This recipe calls for frozen blueberries – simply freeze fresh berries, or buy them frozen – but you can add all frozen to chill even faster.
This summer sangria pairs beautifully with grilled salmon, fresh salads or creamy dip with veggies. If you’re looking for a fun drink to serve that’s light, fruity and refreshing – this White Wine Sangria recipe is it.
