This Chex Mix for Fall puts a simple seasonal spin on my favorite classic sweet-and-salty snack mix. Rice Chex and Corn Chex combine with mixed nuts and pretzels for crunch, while Reese’s Pieces adds that pops of chocolate and peanut butter throughout. A butter and Worcestershire coating ties it all together with a savory, slightly smoky flavor.
This mix works for any fall parties, and it’s easy to make ahead for seasonal holidays. The orange, yellow, and brown Reese’s Pieces fit right into a Halloween candy bowl. Set out a big batch for your pumpkin carving party, or pack it into small bags for a homemade Halloween party favor.
Thanksgiving is where this mix started, though. I first added in the candy bits to have in little treat bags for guests to enjoy upon arrival. This was my way of keeping everyone out of the kitchen while I worked on the main meal. Pack it into paper treat bags for guests with themed messages written on each one.
If you like semi-homemade salty snacks for entertaining, try my Ranch Oyster Crackers or BBQ Ranch Pretzels. Both travel well for parties and make great gifts alongside this Chex mix.
