There were always plenty of homemade snacks around our house during the holidays, and these Ranch Oyster Crackers were one of my favorites. The salty, savory bite has always been at arms reach for family gatherings.

This 20-minute recipe uses only 5 simple ingredients and stores at room temperature for up to a week – if they last that long!

The 5 Ingredients You’ll Need

How to Make Ranch Oyster Crackers

Gather ingredients. Add ranch seasoning, dried dill, garlic powder and vegetable oil to a large bowl. Whisk together.

Add oyster crackers. Stir into the bowl until evenly coated in the ranch mixture.

Transfer and bake. Spread the crackers in an even layer on a baking sheet or roasting pan. Bake in oven preheated to 250 degrees F for 10 minutes. Stir and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Cool, serve and store. Let the crackers cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Ingredients 

  • 9 ounces soup and oyster crackers
  • 1 packet (.81 ounce) garden ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, dill, garlic powder and vegetable oil until smooth.
  • Fold in oyster crackers and toss until evenly coat.
  • Spread crackers in a single layer on a large baking sheet or roasting pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Stir, then bake for an additional 5 minutes, until golden.
  • Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
