I’ve committed to a little less booze right now — but that doesn’t mean my drinks have to be any less interesting. These Blood Orange Mockaritas take advantage of my favorite winter citrus, and they’re perfect for your game day party or to mix up and raise a glass with your Valentine.
In less than 10 minutes, you can have a fresh-squeezed mocktail that will have your mouth singing — HEY, MOCK-ARENA! Sorry, I’ve had that in my head for at least a week and had to let it out.

Blood Orange Mockaritas
Ingredients
- 4 ounces fresh-squeezed blood orange juice, about 2 oranges
- 2 ounces fresh-squeezed lime juice, about 1 large lime
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 3 to 4 ounces soda water
- Coarse kosher salt
Instructions
- Add ingredients to a glass and gently stir with a spoon to mix. Prepare 2 glasses with salt rim — rub squeezed lime around the rim of the glass and dip into a small plate of kosher salt.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour over mockaritas. Garnish with a slice of blood orange and serve!
