Watermelon Slushie
Cool down with this refreshing Watermelon Slushie. It’s made with cubed watermelon, lime juice, mint and ice. A quick and easy summer drink that’s hydrating and delightful.
Servings: 4
- 4 cups watermelon cubed
- 2 cups ice
- ¼ cup lime juice fresh squeezed
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint
Add all of the ingredients to a blender, secure lid and blend on high until well combined.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
This slushie is made to be served immediately, but you can make it an hour or so in advance and place in the freezer. I recommend leaving it in the blender jar. When ready to serve, place the blender back on the base and pulse 3 to 5 times to ensure even consistency.
If your watermelon isn’t super sweet, you can add 1 tablespoon of sugar, honey or agave syrup at a time to sweeten. For Whole30, try just a pinch of kosher salt to help bring out the natural sweetness of the melon.
