This pear cocktail is topped with bubbly prosecco. It's festive when served as an arrival cocktail for Thanksgiving and holiday entertaining, or you can stir up just one drink for a cozy fall or winter night at home.
Stir together pear juice, orange juice, and pear brandy in a chilled glass.
Top gently with chilled Prosecco, pouring slowly so you don’t lose the bubbles.
Garnish with a thin pear slice or wedge (optional) and serve.
For a batch (makes 8)
Combine pear juice, orange juice, and pear brandy in a pitcher or large mixing glass. Chill until ready to serve.
When ready, divide the mixture into 8 glasses. Top each with prosecco (1 750 ml bottle is perfectly divided).
Garnish each with a pear slice (optional) and serve.
Notes
For the sugared rim, wet the rim of the glass and dip it into a plate with sugar. Carefully pour and stir the ingredients, as noted, so as not to disturb the sugared edge.
