Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Reposado tequila
  • 1 ounces pomegranate juice
  • ¾ ounces cranberry juice unsweetened preferred
  • ¾ ounces fresh orange juice
  • ½ ounces fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounces simple syrup
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Ice
  • Fresh rosemary sprig for garnish
  • Fresh cranberries and pomegranate arils optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Add tequila, pomegranate juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, lime juice, simple syrup and bitters to a shaker half filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a rosemary sprig, cranberries and pomegranate arils, as desired.

Notes

  • Use 100% pure juices with no added sweetness, if available. Adjust simple syrup for sweetness, based on juices.
  • To make a batch cocktail (serves 20): Combine 2 ½ cups pomegranate juice, 2 cups cranberry juice, 2 cups orange juice, 1 cup lime juice and 1 cup simple syrup into a large pitcher or drink dispenser. Chill for at least 2 hours. Stir in 4 cups Reposado tequila and serve over ice or in coupe glasses.
  • Lightly torch the tip of the rosemary just before serving to release natural aroma.
  • To make a mocktail: Remove tequila and orange bitters. Once poured into a glass, stir in ginger beer or sparkling water.
