Chocolate Chip Mug Cake
This easy Chocolate Chip Mug Cake is a 10-minute (or less), single-serve dessert made in the microwave with pantry staples. Customize with chocolate chips or other flavored chips or candy pieces.

- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Spray the inside of a small microwave-safe coffee mug with baking spray.
Add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into the mug. Stir together, until combined.
Pour in milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until batter is well combined, scraping the bottom of the mug. Fold in chocolate chips.
Microwave on high for 70 seconds, until cake is set. Avoid overbaking to keep the cake moist.
Let rest for 1 minute and dig in!
