Chili Lime Salmon

Salmon is a great source of protein, and this Chili Lime Salmon is a super-simple preparation. It's Whole30 compatible and can be made a full dinner when paired with riced cauliflower or the vegetable of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1½ lb. salmon filet
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lime zested and juiced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add in zest and juice of 1 lime. Mix well to combine.
  • Place salmon filet on prepared pan and pat dry with a paper towel. Brush on seasoning mixture until well coated.
  • Bake for 14 to 16 minutes, or until salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
